We all know that water is one of our most precious commodities. Around 71% of the earth’s surface is water and approximately 60% of the adult human body is made up of water too. And although it is possible to survive without food for three weeks, we can only live for three to four days without water!
At Sofidel we appreciate the value of water and have committed to monitoring clean water and sanitation as one of our sustainable development goals. As a result, we are attentive to the correct management of water and constantly monitor our production processes in order to optimise the use of water resources.
We work hard to limit water consumption within our production processes and are proud to be able to say that our water consumption is 53-72% lower than the industry benchmark.
